Phase II Facility Project Groundbreaking Ceremony

On February 6, 2024, Xiamen Bioendo Technology Co., Ltd. and Haidoli held the groundbreaking ceremony for their capacity expansion and investment project. The ceremony marked an important milestone in Bioendo's continued development and long-term commitment to advancing sustainable endotoxin testing technologies.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from government agencies, research institutions, industry organizations, and partner companies, including senior officials from the Fujian Provincial Government, Xiamen Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Marine Development, Haicang District government departments, and Xin'yang Subdistrict. Representatives from Xiamen Southern Ocean Research Center, Xiamen Institute for Food and Drug Control, Xiamen Pharmaceutical Association, as well as senior executives from industry partners, also joined the event.
Founded during China's period of rapid economic development, Bioendo has grown through more than four decades of innovation, resilience, and commitment. Over the past 45 years, our team has built on the foundation established by our predecessors while working closely with government agencies, research institutions, industry partners, and customers to advance China's endotoxin testing industry.
Through sustained investment in research and development, Bioendo has overcome a number of critical technological challenges and developed innovative solutions for endotoxin detection. Our achievements have been recognized through certifications and honors including National High-Tech Enterprise status, Specialized and Innovative Enterprise recognition, Xiamen Science and Technology Small Giant Enterprise status, participation in Xiamen's Advanced Manufacturing Doubling Program, and inclusion in Xiamen's listed-company reserve program.
As the life sciences industry continues to evolve, Bioendo is strengthening its capabilities to meet the growing demand for sustainable, efficient, and intelligent endotoxin testing solutions. In 2024, the company launched a new investment and expansion program to establish an integrated platform for sustainable endotoxin testing solutions and the industrialization of intelligent robotic systems.
The new facility is designed to integrate manufacturing, research and development, and business operations within a modernized industrial base. During the first phase, the Haidoli facility will add approximately 14,000 square meters of new manufacturing and operational space. Upon completion, Bioendo's combined facilities will provide more than 20,000 square meters of total space, creating a stronger foundation for the company's future growth.
Following completion of the first-phase facility, Bioendo plans to further expand its sterile manufacturing capabilities and establish automated production lines. These facilities will support the large-scale industrialization of recombinant endotoxin testing reagents, providing an expanded manufacturing platform for products designed to reduce reliance on naturally sourced reagents.
At the same time, Bioendo will accelerate the commercialization and global market development of recombinant endotoxin testing technologies, while expanding the application of intelligent robotic systems in laboratory workflows. These initiatives will support the company's continued international expansion and its transformation toward an integrated model combining synthetic biology with artificial intelligence.
The successful launch of this expansion project would not have been possible without the support and guidance of government authorities and local organizations. Throughout the project approval and planning process, relevant departments and Xin'yang Subdistrict provided dedicated support and coordinated services, helping to address challenges and accelerate project implementation.
