1978
LAL Research Begins
The project “Research and Application of LAL Reagents” received the Second Prize of the Fujian Provincial Science and
Technology Achievement Award.
1982
“Blue Blood”
The educational film “Blue Blood”, based on LAL research, won the Golden Spike Award at the International Food and Agriculture
Organization Educational Film Festival in Germany.
DEC. 1982
National Scientific Achievement
The LAL reagent project successfully passed technical evaluation and received the First-Class Scientific and Technological Achievement Award from China's Ministry of Health.
1985
LAL Quality & Pilot Production
The project received the First-Class Scientific and Technological Achievement Award from the Ministry of Health of the People's Republic of China.
1986
Development of LAL Reagents
The project led by founder Mr. Wu Weihong received the First Prize of Xiamen Science and Technology Progress Achievements.
1987
Clinical Application
Application of LAL reagents in detecting pyrogens in five major infusion products received the Third Prize of the Ministry of Health Science and Technology Progress Award.
1990
National Recognition
Mr. Wu Weihong received a Certificate of Achievement Completion in National Scientific and Technological Projects and was recognized as an Outstanding Overseas Chinese Entrepreneur in Fujian Province.
1991
Marine Bioresource Innovation
The Chinese Society of Oceanology and Limnology awarded the company the Outstanding Innovation Special Award for its contribution to marine bioresource research.
1993
New Scientific Achievement
Bioendo LAL reagent products were recognized as a New Scientific and Technological Achievement at an international symposium.
2004
Quantitative LAL Technology
The new quantitative LAL assay technology using the chromogenic substrate method was included in the Xiamen Municipal Science and Technology Program.
2007
Quality Systems & Automation
ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 certifications were obtained. Bioendo launched an advanced automated and micro-scale LAL Microbial Detection System for bacterial endotoxin and fungal glucan detection.
2009
Specialized Endotoxin Testing Kits
Bioendo expanded its portfolio with specialized LAL kits for dialysis applications, blood preservation solutions, empty blood bags and biological products including vaccines.
2010
Production Expansion
Phase II manufacturing facilities were expanded, increasing production capacity and supporting domestic and international markets.
2011
National High-Tech Enterprise
Bioendo was recognized as a National High-Tech Enterprise. Its rapid clinical endotoxin detection project received National Innovation Fund support, while fungal glucan and endotoxin kits obtained IVD Product Registration Certificates.
2012
Single-Test Gel-Clot LAL
The Phase II expansion facility was completed and internationally standardized single-test gel-clot LAL reagents in vacuum-sealed tubes were introduced.
2013
Technology Innovation Fund
The rapid clinical bacterial endotoxin detection project was approved under the National Technology Innovation Fund for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises.
2014
Marine Economy Innovation
Bioendo was awarded the National Marine Economy Innovation and Development Regional Demonstration Project.
2015
Demonstration Project Completed
Bioendo's demonstration project under the State Oceanic Administration successfully passed final evaluation.
2016
Capital Market Milestone
The company completed shareholding reform and was listed on China's National Equities Exchange and Quotations (New Third Board).
2017
BIOENDO Goes Global
The BIOENDO brand was registered globally and the company accelerated its international market expansion.

LAL Rapid Detection Industrialization
The industrialization project of the LAL Microbial Rapid Detection System was approved as a marine industry demonstration project and successfully passed acceptance inspection.

Bioendo launched the intelligent fully automated bacterial endotoxin detection system, EndoMaster™ Endotoxin Detection Master.
2021
High-Temperature Resistant Endotoxin Indicators
Bioendo introduced an internationally advanced vial series of dry-heat sterilization endotoxin indicators for high-temperature applications.
